Description of your current job

I engage in the marshaling, towing and pushback of aircraft, the loading and unloading of luggage, the sorting of hand luggage, the cleaning of aircraft interiors, transfers in the airport (ramp bus), the removal of snow from aircraft, and various ramp services.
I also work as an instructor with in-house qualifications.

What do you find rewarding or important about your job?

"Safety first": That's the most important thing.
I find it rewarding to work on a team that ensures the departure of airplanes in bad weather or in other severe conditions.

Please talk about when you entered the company.

I joined CAST because I thought I'd be able to make the most of my skills as a founding member of the ground handling service.
Although there was some confusion and worry as we were starting from scratch, we're aiming for further advancement based on our unique characteristics.

Please discuss an unforgettable episode at work.

The Christmas blizzard of 2016
I'd never seen so many international flights coming to New Chitose Airport in heavy snow.
It took time, but we managed to have them depart.
Although we had some difficulties, it was an unforgettable experience.
